Arrival and Departure Information:

  • Arrival: Check-in begins around 14:00h on the first day.

  • Departure: Check-out is around 12:00h on the last day.

Transportation:

  • We offer a group transfer from Alicante airport, departing around 11:30h on the arrival day and from Javea at around 12:00h on the departure day. Timings are coordinated with the majority of the group's flight schedules. The transfer fee is 50 EUR per ride.

  • Private transfers are available upon request, though at a higher cost.

  • Alternatively, you're welcome to rent a car for more flexibility and to explore the Javea area.

Additionally, some apartments have their own terrace, providing a perfect spot for quiet relaxation or enjoying the serene surroundings.

The accommodation
Set close to the picturesque town of Javea, our accommodation consists of a beautiful Spanish house, surrounded by two charming smaller houses divided into several cosy apartments. Each apartment is thoughtfully designed, not only featuring a mix of single and shared bedrooms and multiple bathrooms but also offering the convenience of its own kitchen and living space. This arrangement provides a homely and private setting for you to relax and unwind. Some apartments even offer their own private terraces, perfect for enjoying a moment of solitude.

At the heart of our accommodation is the main house, where our cook prepares delicious, nourishing meals. We gather here to enjoy our meals together, either in the inviting indoor space or on the terrace.
The lush garden, adorned with grand palms and trees, is home to a beautiful, large pool complete with sunbeds, offering a tranquil space for relaxation and soaking up the serene atmosphere.

For our yoga practices, we have a versatile space that caters to all weather conditions, allowing for sessions in a semi-indoor environment, ideal for shade or shelter. The grassy area around the pool also provides a picturesque setting for yoga, fully immersing you in the beauty of the lush garden.

Join me for a rejuvenating six days in the peaceful setting of a beautiful location in Javea, where relaxation and renewal await you. My goal is to help you find balance in your body, mind and heart. A balance you can take back and integrate into your daily (busy) life.

A journey of self-connection:
I will guide you on a journey to deeply connect with yourself. My program includes a variety of yoga practices to open your body and calm your mind to find your inner peace.
You'll experience both Yin and Yang yoga sessions:

  • Yin Yoga: A gentle, meditative practice focusing on deep relaxation and letting go, enhancing the health and flexibility of your connective tissues.

  • Yang Yoga: Active and dynamic, similar to a Vinyasa flow or Slow flow class, it stretches and strengthens your muscles, stimulating energy flow within your body.

The Perfect Balance of Yin & Yang:
Our daily yoga practices, sometimes once, sometimes twice a day, are designed to provide a balanced experience. We will practice Yang yoga in the morning, Yin yoga in the afternoon and also do combined Yin Yang sessions. In the combined Yin-Yang sessions, you'll find that the mindfulness of Yin enhances the vitality of your Yang practice, bringing a harmonious balance to your energy.

Yoga for all levels:
My retreat welcomes yoga practitioners of all levels. We can modify poses to meet your individual needs, ensuring a comfortable and rewarding experience for everyone. While we practice yoga almost daily, sometimes twice a day, our sessions are designed to be accessible and enjoyable.

  • Morning Yoga sessions: These are generally more dynamic, offering a chance to challenge and energize the body in a supportive environment. We flow through various poses, stretching and strengthening the whole body. Modifications are always available to suit your comfort level and your body’s needs.

  • Afternoon Yin Yoga: Our afternoon sessions focus on Yin yoga, a more passive and meditative practice. We hold postures longer, encouraging stillness in both body and mind. This practice is beneficial for strengthening connective tissues, joints, and bones, as well as working on the body’s energy channels.

Hike:
In addition to yoga, we offer a hike to explore the beautiful coastal area or the Montgo mountain. These activities vary in intensity but always include some uphill walking. The level of challenge depends on your personal experience and fitness level.

Remember, this is your retreat, so feel free to participate as much or as little as you like.
Relaxing by the pool with a book and enjoying the lush garden is always a wonderful option.

Who joins my yoga holidays?

I often get asked about the kinds of people who attend my yoga holidays. Our guests include both men and women from various walks of life, with different ages and backgrounds. While many come alone, seeking a personal journey, we also get couples, family and friends.

What's beautiful about my yoga holidays is the natural bond that forms among participants. From the very start, there's a sense of community and connection. It's a place where friendships are often made. However, we equally respect your need for solitude and personal space. You're free to enjoy the tranquillity of our terrace and pool and all activities are entirely optional. Your comfort, relaxation and enjoyment are our top priorities.

I value the intimacy of smaller groups, allowing for personalized attention and a more profound experience. Each yoga holiday accommodates a maximum of 14 people.

  • A special session like a Breathing Circle or Sound Bath

  • A special Yoga Nidra meditation

  • Use of the lovely swimming pool

  • A wonderful hike in the surrounding coastal area or Montgo mountain

  • Excursion to the beach with yoga & time to relax

  • Use of towels

  • Use of all yoga materials; mats, blocks, belts and blankets

 Optional extras for your retreat:

  • Treat yourself to a wonderful massage with one of our special massage therapists

  • Participate in a cooking workshop with our chef

  • Take a trip to Javea's old town

Not included in the price:

  • Flights: Travelers are responsible for their flights to and from Alicante (or Valencia).

  • Transfers: We offer a group transfer from Alicante airport to Javea and back.
    The departure from Alicante airport is around 11:30h, coordinated with the majority of flight arrivals. This transfer costs 50 euros per ride. If you require a private transfer, we can arrange it, but please note that the costs will be higher. Alternatively, you're welcome to rent a car. Especially if you would like to explore the Javea area this is a good idea.
    The return group transfer from Javea to Alicante airport departs around 12:00h on the last day, aligned with the majority of flight departure times.

  • Insurance: Attendees should arrange their own travel and/or cancellation insurance.

  • Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses, such as food and drinks during your free time or at the beach, are not covered. We will have one afternoon off where you have the freedom to explore and choose your activities.

Tip:

  • You can book a flight at a good price with Transavia, Vueling, EasyJet or Ryanair. It can often be cheaper to book two single tickets (with two different airlines).

Booking policy & Minimum participation

To reserve your place at the retreat, please complete the booking form (button below). Shortly after submitting your form, you will receive a confirmation email along with an invoice. To secure your spot, please pay the indicated down payment. Your participation in the retreat is confirmed upon receipt of this down payment.

Please note that the retreat requires a minimum of 6 participants to proceed.
While planning your trip, including booking flights and other travel arrangements, I recommend waiting until the retreat is officially confirmed with the minimum number of participants. This precaution is advised because in the event the retreat is cancelled due to not reaching the required number of guests, I am unable to take responsibility for any flight or travel costs incurred.

In the case that the retreat must be cancelled due to not meeting the minimum participant requirement, rest assured that all amounts paid towards the retreat fee, including the down payment, will be fully refunded to you.
